Dr. Bonnie S. Brennen, Professor of Journalism, is the Nieman Professor of Journalism at the J. William and Mary Diederich College of Communication at Marquette University. She previously was the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs at Temple University. In Fall 2004, Dr. Brennen joined Temple as Professor and Chair of the Department of Journalism in the School of Communications and Theater. Previously, she was a professor of journalism at Missouri University. Her scholarly work centers on journalism history and cultural studies. Dr. Brennen is a prolific scholar. She has published one book, two edited books, and a number of journal articles, book chapters, and book reviews. She has also presented papers at many national conferences and served as guest editor for three journals.
